If you know anything about me, then you might know that I’m a huge football fan and I have been for years! My freshman year of college I held what was probably the all-time best Superbowl party and I’m dying to have my own place so I can do it again in the near future.
Even though my team (Patriots..sniffles!) isn’t in the Superbowl this year, I love the sport, so I’m still going to watch the game. While I haven’t decided whether I’m rooting for the Packers or the Steelers yet, I do know that I want to be well-dressed for the occasion!
Which is why it’s great that the NFL is celebrating its female fans this year! In the past, the NFL had a limited selection of women’s team apparel, and we were forced to wear frumpy men’s clothing or stuff that we purchased in the largest size we could find in the little boy’s section of the store. The recently lauched NFL.com/women is your online destination for sporty style!
If you haven’t already got your Superbowl duds lined up, now is the time. No more unflattering fits… NFL Women’s Apparel, “Fit For You” shows women how to dress up their team apparel for a night on the town, a day at the gym, casual Friday at the office or a Sunday at the stadium.
The effort highlights ways female NFL fans can embrace football while staying true to their style! And there are no small names here, the licensees featured in the ads and look book include Touch by GIII, VF, Reebok, Concept One, Little Earth, Logoart, For Bare Feet, Modo and Gametime. Plus, the NFL is offering its female fans everything from customized jeans to yoga mats to Victoria’s Secret PINK NFL collection to bedazzled and plush flip flops. NFL apparel features on-trend product such as Reebok’s Field Flirt Animal Print Burnout Tee and Retro Sport Burn Out Tee. There are a variety of NFL items for female fans of all team affinities, styles and sizes, including junior, missy, plus-sized and maternity.
