Get the Look: Olivia Wilde wears NARS for 68th Golden Globes

Celebrity makeup artist Spencer Barnes created presenter Olivia Wilde’s glowing look for the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards.

“Olivia’s look was inspired by images she collected of what she refers to as ‘the French girl.’  I wanted her skin to be fresh and clean with eyes that extended outward. Touches of rose gold and sheer pink-veiled lips completed her youthful coquette-ish look,” Spencer said.

FACE

Barnes used Sheer Glow Foundation and PRO-PRIME Multi Protect Primer With SPF (NEW for Spring 2011 – available February 1st exclusively at Sephora; for now, try NARS Makeup Primer With SPF) all over Wilde’s face. To give her a fresh glow, Copacabana Illuminator (NEW for Spring 2011 – available February 15th on narscosmetics.com; for now, try Copacabana Multiple) was used to highlight and Amour Blush flushed Olivia’s cheeks.

EYES

Barnes applied NARS PRO-PRIME Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base across the lids to keep eyeshadow in place. Nouveau Monde Duo Eyeshadow (NEW for Spring 2011!) and Hollywoodland Soft Touch Shadow Pencil (NEW for Spring 2011!) were used to highlight and define Wilde’s eyes. Olivia’s eyes were lined with Mambo Eyeliner Pencil and a coat of Larger Than Life Lengthening Mascara was used to top them off.

LIPS

Olivia’s lips were lined with Fantasia Lipliner Pencil and Madere Pure Matte Lipstick (NEW for Spring 2011!) was applied. Frivolous Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil (NEW for Spring 2011 – available February 1st on narscosmetics.com; for now, try Super Orgasm Lip Gloss, also new for Spring 2011!) was also used.
