I feel like Christmas is usually such a nostalgic time anyways, that I might as well try to look as romantic and vintage-y as possible…with a modern twist.
A paired a vintage-feeling lace dress, with vintage jewelry, opaque tights and glam heel-wedge..things. Even though this dress wasn’t the easiest hostess dress to wear (it was a little short) this Christmas Day outfit is definitely one of my favorites.
Let me also prove that I am definitely in serious need of a boyfriend to take my personal style photos (i.e. Emily and Rumi), because my Mom, as much as I adore her, quickly grew tired of taking pictures (she took about 6 before saying, “Can you look at these and see if you like any of them?”) just takes the picture to have the picture, rather than taking it with an artistic feel.
