Backstage at United Bamboo, Dick Page sited the clothing of the collection as his inspiration for the makeup. Since the runway was so close to where the guests would be sitting, Page wanted to make the models look flawless, carefree and almost like they weren’t wearing any makeup at all.
Page created a dirty smoky eye first by applying lip balm to the models’ lids and then by dusting on the “Snow Shadow” palette (GY901, $36.00 available now) a mix of navies and grays. The balm helps amplify a “melting, defined eye” and should look like a little has worn off. Mascara and eyeliner not used.
