I love it when beauty meets the greater good!
If you live in NYC and love makeup, but are always looking for new tips and tricks about how to apply your makeup, and you want to help a good cause…this is the event for you:
Makeup artist to the stars, Jackie Gomez, will be providing her expertise in an effort to raise money for the Cornelia Connelly Center, an all-girls middle school on the Lower East Side. All proceeds will benefit the Connelly Center and all donations are tax deductible. Gomez has worked with many celebrities including Beyonce, Marisa Miller and Zoe Saldana!
Gomez will offer two full hours of one-on-one demonstrations and tips for makeup application to women who are seeking expert advice on how to wear makeup in a professional environment. (We’ve totally all seen those girls who work in an office and think they’re at a nightclub!)
The Connelly Center gives girls from low-income families a uniquely effective educational foundation that encompasses a comprehensive middle-school programs, strong support through high school, planning for higher education and a vibrant alumnae community, which together enable Connelly students to fulfill their potentials and achieve success and productive roles in society, an opportunity that they may have not otherwise had.
